Cathleen Montoya 4 months agoThere is a lady that works there ( tag says Kathy) that never seems to want to help you or upsell or sell anything to u. She Always has a bad attitude either with I don't have that part , will have to order it, or know I don't know.. We went in today to get a battery for key she, she said she didn't know what size it was. We asked her do you have a little screwdriver so we could take this off to see what size it is, she didn't even bother to go look, she said all she had was the big one by her register and that was all. So not to argue with her anymore because she's like this all the time we just went to AutoZone... Which they helped us right away.. We will not be going back to your store, when that lady is working. So I will look in and if she is there then I'd rather go to AutoZone then deal with her. Oh yes I forgot when you asked her if she could call someone else she says she's the only one that's up there in the front. She is the only one that acts like that the other try and help u BUT NOT HER... I AM SORRY I WORK FOR RETAIL TOO AND WOULDN'T ALLOW THIS FROM ANY OF MY EMPLOYEES. OUR JOBS THERE TO HELP THE CUSTOMER TO THE BEST OF OUR ABILITY NOT JUST TURN THEM AWAY OR I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING OR I CAN'T HELP YOU....

Alice J. St. John a year agoOn July 30th, one of the parts delivery trucks cut me off at the intersection of Wyoming and Copper. Fortunately for the driver of that vehicle, my car already had damage on the front fender that she hit. She told her manager that she did not hit me, but that indicates to me that she at least knew that she cut me off. Her left rear bumper grazed my right front fender. It would have been worse if I had not slammed on my brakes. She ignored me when I pulled up alongside her at the next intersection and I tried to hail her and get her attention. I managed to get photos of her and her fleet vehicle #. Took me about a week to determine who the vehicle belonged to. I spoke to two different women at the How Am I Driving Line and I did my due diligence by speaking with two different claims adjusters. I made it very clear I didn't want to file a claim, but to get acknowledgement that the driver cut me off and she did hit me. Contact is contact. I'm not a grifter and I wasn't trying to get the O'Reilly's insurance company to pay for pre-existing damage as that's not the way I am. I am an honest person. The manager of the store basically called me a liar and has continued to defend the woman who cut me off and clipped me. I tell you what, had I been going down Wyoming at 50 or 60 mph, and not the speed limit, her negligence would have resulted in a really bad accident. REALLY BAD. What upsets me more than anything is the fact that the driver absolutely refused to acknowledge that I was trying to get her attention. I hope she enjoyed her bottle of water and I hope the store manager or fleet manager is grateful for the previous damage to my car which probably kept their behinds out of sling. I've been an off and on customer of O'Reilly's for YEARS. Not anymore. All I know is that my dad, who owned and operated service stations for DECADES, would have bounced one of his employees right out of a job had one of his employees on a parts run collided with another vehicle. Those 800 How Am I Driving stickers, mean squat.

Kailo Wren a year agoTL;DR: don't bring your brake drums or rotors to this store thinking they will resurface them for you, even if they say yes. I'm criticizing this location for one reason only: it has a management problem. I was having my rear brakes worked on last September and I only ordered a set of pads, so I called around to find out if any O'Reilly locations offered rotor resurfacing. Three other locations simply said no, so I called this one, and the store manager told me over the phone that they offer the service. I brought my rotors in, and it took about 5-10 minutes of fruitless arguing with the staff before a gentleman by the name of Manny showed up who doesn't actually work there, and he agreed to resurface them for me. (He did an excellent job. This review is NOT a criticism of Manny in the slightest.) I paid the store $50 for the job and returned the rotors to my car. Fast forward to yesterday. This time, I needed to service my front brakes. I purchased a complete kit with the pads and two new rotors, but felt it was wasteful to discard the old rotors. Once again, I asked the same manager from September if they offer resurfacing. The response was "well yes, but actually no." I said that this time I did not need them back quickly and I could leave the parts with them for as long as needed. Then came the excuses that they don't know when they'll have a staff member who can perform the work, so I shouldn't leave the rotors with them. I relented and discarded the old rotors. I generally criticize the store chain, among others, for failing to offer a valuable service that I utilized over a decade ago without issue. However, I am not the type of person who will throw a fit when I'm simply told no. This is why I ask the question, do you resurface brake rotors? On two separate occasions, this store manager answers my question with a resounding yes, but then recoils when I have the parts ready to drop off. What this means to me is that they have the equipment, but not the staff capability. Why is it so difficult to convey this simple statement to your customers? We are not stupid. Stop treating us as such.
