My daughter went in to buy a part and asked if one of the guys could help unloosen a bolt so she could part it on. Refused to even help her out. Advance auto had no issues on helping her. Choice is easy where to spend our money now.

I had an uncomfortable customer service experience here. I came in to exchange an air filter because I originally bought the cabin air filter instead of the engine air filter. The employee who helped me (his name was Robert, last name possibly Chris) processed the transaction and gave me two receipts, but did not clearly explain what I was paying for. Since English is not my native language, I politely asked him to confirm whether I needed to pay extra, as the engine air filter is cheaper. Instead of briefly explaining, he just told me to “read the receipt.” There were no other customers waiting, so taking 15–30 seconds to explain would not have been a problem. I understand that no one is required to provide language help, but basic politeness and customer service matter. This situation could have been handled much better with a little patience.

Dewayne is the best! He was brilliant, kind, and such a pleasure. Not only did he answer my questions, but gave wonderful advice. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had in an auto parts shop. In a world of doing just the job, Dewayne went above and beyond and made me a fan of O'Reilley's!
