Elaine Johnson a month agoNumber one attribute was Erika behind the bar and pub owner, Joel's inviting hospitality. They were what we've come to know to be the reserved hospitality in this city that almost always evolves into a genuine warmth once you've a little shared time. Service was excellent, beers super cold, Jameson smooth, superb Reuben, fries, Irish meatloaf with gravy, sauteed vegetables and really real mashed potatoes!! We're a pretty easy going older couple from East Tennessee that doesn't do drama. After being completely (no eye contact) ignored at another establishment we walked until we found this lovely treasure less than a block from our hotel. We will definitely return to this treasure, O'Reilly's Irish Pub when visiting Indianapolis. Thank you guys for helping us maintain our love for everything Indy!!
Sophia Sierra Quintero a month agoHad the breaded pork tenderloin sandwich for the first time and it was great! It was crispy, juicy, with thick cuts of tomato and pickle. I asked for it without the lettuce, and with the mashed potatoes and gravy. I regretted my choice of sides once I had the sweet potato fries bc they were sooo good. Big recommend

Matt Rudnitsky 2 months agoWoof. Do not go here. I do not leave 1-star reviews … basically ever (check my profile). This was a zero-star experience. My friends and I were in town for Final Four weekend. We were told this was a “Michigan bar.” Cool! We went before the semis. We were forced to wait on line for 30+ minutes, thinking nothing of it — until we got inside and it was nowhere near full. Odd. But we let it go. Stupidly, we returned after Michigan won. Again, the line moved slowly. We were patient. For whatever reason, they decided to allow more than 10 people to leave before a patron was allowed in. Over, and over, and over. To the point where 50+ people had left and only a handful of us let in. Despite, again, it being nowhere near full — we waited 90+ minutes to get in after the game. Just in time to enter a mostly-empty bar, about to close. We paid way too much money, stupidly tipped well, and then were abruptly told “last call” well before the posted closing hours. I squeezed in one last round, and the guy behind me was scolded for asking right after. Denied. After we asked why they wouldn’t do a one-in, one-out situation (or anything close to it), the bouncer pointed at a sign on the door that said, “don’t be a tool.” Takes one to know one, I guess. A truly miserable experience. They did not seem to want our money or respect or celebration, and even though we naively provided all of that, they shooed us away. The Guinness was good. That’s the only positive I can say. Don’t go here, and don’t believe anything they say. Also not clear why it was a “Michigan bar” as they seemed to have no care nor appreciation for the dozens of fans trying to enter and pay and celebrate.
Brooke Matthews 4 months agoAlways a great experience with helpful & friendly staff! They have a great lunch menu now. Chicken Alfredo is amazing with homemade sauce. Perfectly portioned!
