Jade Jimenez 5 months agoI had some issues starting my car and figured something was wrong with my battery. I took my car to Oreily for a battery check and Henry was extremely helpful. I got home from work really late so I did go in nearing closing time just to see if they were able to accommodate me, and I was expecting that it was too late in the day. Henry was the one who took the time to check out my battery and fixed something that was placed incorrectly. Thanks so much for the above and beyond customer service! I went again several days later and Nicholas helped us out. He was very nice and helpful as well. Thank you Oreillys for all your assistance!
Miguel O a month agoplaced an online order to save time and get my order ready while i ran other errands. estimate is about an hour. about an hour later, i have no confirmation email yet but im still in the neighborhood neighborhood running errands so i go kill more time so i don't have to come back to this side of town. finally, after over 2 hours i really have to leave and still no confirmation email.... so i walk into the store. store is empty and not busy at all and the guys were just chillin and chatting at the counter and hadn't gotten started on my order yet until i showed up and asked about it. took them all of five minutes to get the stuff. annoying. if i knew the service would be unreliable i would've just gotten the stuff myself if O'Reilly is gonna offer the online order service, corporate needs to figure out a better system for notifications so staff is aware orders are in and need to be fulfilled. either that and/or store staff needs to be more on top of it.
Ace Aaron Wise a month ago(Read updated response at the bottom): Everyone is hella cool except this lazy rude worker named Francisco. Oriellys should consider firing him. I asked him if they had any car/outlet adapters and he rudely told me what I see is what they got. Then his coworker Roberto helped me out, not only did he walk over to the aisle to check, he checked the computer and found me a better one in stock in the back. Then when I told Francisco that he should improve his attitude he said “whatever bro” and gave me a thumbs up. I hate to give a place that has a lot of good workers a low star rating but maybe this review will opt the management to, Bare Minimum, have a conversation with their little angry guy Francisco. Update: management viewed and replied, so I’m moving my rating back up to 5 stars… for now. Everyone else here is hella cool, and Roberto was a great help that one day. Deserves a promotion.
Alfonso Googleplex 6 months agoThanks so much to the manager at the Geary store (I believe his name is Sean). Gave me quick and efficient service in guiding me to and finding the correct light bulb for my Prius high beam headlight. He quickly resolved my confusion re which bulb fit the high beam and which fit the low beam. Sold me the correct bulb which I brought home and installed - problem solved and a very happy ending. Could not have asked for better service! Al
Curran Robertson 6 months agoI tried to buy a serpentine belt here. My a/c compressor pulley broke, so I wanted to take it out of the loop. I measured the dimensions for the new pulley and called this O'Reilly's to see if they have the correct size. The guy I talked to didn't know how to search for a belt size and didn't seem to comprehend what I was talking about. He became upset due to his own incompetence. He transferred me to who I think was the manager, who also couldn't figure out how to search for a belt size. He told me, "That's the problem with modifying your vehicle." Not only were the employees at this store incompetent at their jobs, when asked to complete a simple task, they became upset. I understand that these chain stores are hiring random people these days, but to get upset at a potential customer for simply asking for a part is obviously a poor business model. I called NAPA later and had no trouble getting the right belt size.
