I am a faithful patron of O'Reillys... this one in particular. I drive a vintage car and do a lot of the work myself so, I am a frequent customer. I went in on Friday and needed to confirm that it was indeed my battery and not my alternator as well, unfortunately none of the employees were the ones familiar to me... one of the employees was using their diagnostic machine with someone else and we all walked in together and I mentioned that I'll be needing that as well...I waited in line... which is all over the place and always different... but, when there are others waiting...I wait behind them... when I FINALLY got to the front. I had to ask the young guy about getting the diagnostic... after he agreed with me... he left.. he didn't say... okay... I'll find that battery and have it ready for you...or any thing helpful...I disconnected the battery and got it inside... waited in line again... some guy comes waltzing and cut 4 off us off and went straight to the front, the employee immediately helped him and went out and replaced his windshield wipers...I was spending over $100 on a battery and I could get zero interest or assistance... after I took it out and put it all in... it sparked...I asked someone to come out and have a look as it has a marine battery and extra accessories.. he told me it was the wrong battery and I explained... it was the same one that I had taken out and it had lasted 7 years so, it works for me . he was extremely unhelpful and more than once told me to go take it somewhere...I repeatedly told him...I don't have anyone to take it to... that's why I'm here... he was not kind, friendly or helpful. Eventually...I got it all finished and it's running great. I will not be going back there. Very disappointed!

Women beware, I have never felt the need to leave a bad review but the people in this store think women are stupid and will try to scam you. I went in trying to get a replacement windshield wiper, i asked him where the windshield wipers were, he ignores me and starts typing in his computer asking me questions about my vehicle, when he’s done he brings me over the most expensive wiper option ($36 for a single blade), i asked for the cheaper option and he said this was the only one they had for my car, i pointed to his computer screen showing the set for $20 and he said no don't worry about that… wow, seriously?? I said never mind and left, did a quick google in my car and pulled up the exact set of wipers, in stock at their location that I needed for $20 and placed a mobile order, The order was ready for pick up but ultimately i decided to get a refund cause i don’t want to give this business any of my money. Do these guys even make commission or are they just upselling women just cause they get off on it? actually disgusting. Go to autozone instead.

Tomás is extremely kind and helpful! We came in on a Sunday night looking for some lights for our car and had doubts about whether our battery was still good. He kindly offered to check the battery and the alternator for us, and even helped install the new battery himself — without charging anything extra. He also took the time to explain everything and helped us choose the best product for our car. He’s such a warm, genuine, and good-hearted person — it’s very rare to find someone this kind and willing to help these days. Truly excellent service and an amazing human being. I went to this store to have my car’s charging system checked because my dashboard was showing electrical warnings. An older employee tested the battery with a device and told me the battery had multiple damaged cells and that I needed to buy a new battery. He also insisted that the alternator was not the problem. I specifically asked if the alternator could be checked to rule out a charging issue, but he told me it was not necessary because the battery was the problem. No measurement of the alternator output or voltage check with a voltmeter was performed. I decided to get a second opinion from my mechanic, and after a proper inspection it turned out that the real issue was the alternator, not the battery. The alternator was replaced and the car has been working perfectly, and the battery they said was “bad” is still working fine (after more than a month). Because of this experience, I recommend that customers get a second opinion before purchasing a battery or any other part, since the diagnosis I received here was not accurate.
